Guiding the community with care and presence.
At Chateau Madeleine, leadership is not distant or corporate. It is present in the daily life of the community.
Ownership and management remain closely involved in guiding the experience of residents and families, ensuring that decisions are thoughtful and the atmosphere of the community remains warm, welcoming, and attentive.
Residents often come to know the people guiding the community not simply as administrators, but as familiar faces seen throughout the day.
A community guided by stewardship.
Chateau Madeleine was created with a vision of senior living that feels personal, refined, and rooted in genuine care. That vision continues to shape the community today.
Leadership works closely with residents, families, and staff to ensure that the character of the community remains consistent — a place where comfort, dignity, and connection are always at the center of daily life.
Because leadership is present and accessible, the community remains responsive to the people who call it home.

Leadership close to everyday life.
In many communities, leadership operates behind the scenes. At Chateau Madeleine, leadership is part of the rhythm of the community.
Whether greeting residents in the morning, attending gatherings, or simply stopping for conversation in the courtyard, the leadership team remains closely connected to daily life.
This presence helps ensure that residents feel known and that the community continues to reflect the values on which it was founded.
Leadership team
Eric Hardoon
Executive Director & Administrator
Born on Long Island and moving to Orlando at the age of 16 with his family, Eric Hardoon witnessed first-hand the transformation of small-town Orlando into one of the premier vacation destinations in the world. Eric graduated from the University of Central Florida School of Business with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Hospitality Management in 2000. He also holds an Administrator’s Assisted Living Core Competency Training certification. Eric’s career began in hospitality, working with resort-style hotels such as the Marriott World Center and Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin. He gained experience in nearly every aspect of resort operations, including managing the front office of a five-star Orlando property. In 2002, he earned a Certified Residential Contracting License, building high-end custom homes, and later partnered with companies in software development and medical facility management. By 2014, his focus shifted toward larger-scale projects, leading him to establish a land development company and co-develop Brevard Medical City with his family. Chateau Madeleine Senior Living was born as a core part of that vision. In 2019, Eric blended his development expertise and resort-style hospitality background to create a new standard for senior living in Brevard County. His vision was simple but bold: to take senior living to the level of a luxury resort, where residents are cared for with excellent healthcare, pampered with hospitality, and immersed in meaningful social connections. Eric’s leadership philosophy is rooted in family. He believes that when staff feel like family, that care and warmth radiates to residents and their loved ones. This culture has become the foundation of Chateau Madeleine’s success, with directors and team members empowered to take pride in their work and residents flourishing in a vibrant, supportive environment. One of Eric’s most impactful contributions has been the creation of ChateauMadeleine.Live, a homegrown app developed in-house to connect residents, families, and the community. The 24/7 streaming channel delivers live activities, weekly specials, Chateau news, weather, and videos less than seven days old, bringing life at Chateau into every resident’s suite and family member’s home. The platform has become a cornerstone of engagement, helping families feel more connected and residents more involved. Eric also emphasizes the importance of lifestyle and family connection in senior living. By hosting creative events and offering a wide variety of activities, he has helped increase family visits, knowing that the more time residents spend with loved ones, the more they thrive. His approach to dining follows the same philosophy: to make Chateau feel like a “land cruise” with multiple dining options and a four-course “Chef’s Pick” restaurant experience available every day, just like a luxury cruise line. Today, as Administrator and Executive Director of Chateau Madeleine, Eric continues to lead with innovation, integrity, and passion always focused on creating a place where residents don’t just live, but truly flourish.
